Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Naijashare Q-Fix website and services. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Copyright notice. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
1. What the platform is
Naijashare Q-Fix is a marketplace that connects users for:
- Ridesharing between drivers and passengers
- Apartment and room sharing between listers and seekers
- Handyman and related skilled services
- IT consultancy and project work
- An AI assistant for platform help and general queries
Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing, we are an intermediary. We do not employ drivers, landlords, artisans, or consultants, and we are not a party to the ride, tenancy, or service contract between users. Agreements on price, timing, and scope are between those users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract under Nigerian law. You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date. One person, one account, unless we approve otherwise. We may refuse or close an account that fails verification or breaches these terms.
3. Accounts and verification
You are responsible for activity under your login. Face verification, where required, is used to confirm identity and improve safety. You must not use another person’s face, photo, or identity. We may suspend an account that fails or bypasses verification.
4. User rules
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or illegal listings, rides, or jobs
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
- Use the platform for fraud, money laundering, or unlicensed activity
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the site
- Upload malware or content you do not have the right to share
- Circumvent fees by taking a lead from the platform and completing payment off-platform to avoid commission, where a commission applies
Drivers must hold a valid licence, use a roadworthy vehicle, and follow Nigerian traffic law. Apartment listers must have the right to offer the space. Handymen and consultants must be competent for the work they accept and comply with any licence the job requires.
5. Listings, bookings, and jobs
Rides, rooms, and jobs are offered by users, not by us, unless a listing is clearly marked as provided by Q-Fix Integrated Services LTD. Check details, identity, and terms before you travel, move in, or pay. We do not guarantee that a user, vehicle, property, or job will meet your expectations, or that a match will be available.
6. Payments and commission
Pay only through the payment instructions published on the platform. Where a commission applies (including the rate shown on the relevant service page, such as 7% on applicable jobs), that fee is due to Q-Fix Integrated Services LTD. Work owners set their own charges unless a page states otherwise. Upload a valid receipt when the flow requires verification. We may delay confirmation until payment is matched. Chargebacks, failed transfers, and disputed receipts can lead to suspension.
7. Cancellations and disputes
Cancellation rules shown on a listing or booking flow apply between the users involved. We may help review a complaint but are not obliged to resolve disputes between users or to refund a payment made directly between users. Report safety issues to us and, where appropriate, to the police.
8. AI assistant
The assistant is for convenience only. Answers can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions, and do not submit passwords or bank details in prompts.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of content you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it to operate and promote the platform. You confirm you have the rights to post it. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law.
10. Our intellectual property
The platform, the Naijashare and Q-Fix names and logos, and our original content belong to Q-Fix Integrated Services LTD or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by the Copyright notice.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, if we reasonably believe these terms, the law, or user safety is at risk. You may stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. Clauses on payments due, liability, and content licences survive closure.
12. Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the conduct of other users. To the extent Nigerian law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and satisfactory quality.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent Nigerian law allows, Q-Fix Integrated Services LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from another user’s act or omission, a ride, a shared apartment, or work done by an independent provider. Our total liability for a claim relating to the platform is limited to the commission or fees you paid us for the relevant transaction in the three months before the claim, or ₦[insert cap] if no fee was paid. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify Q-Fix Integrated Services LTD against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your listings, your use of the platform, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our own fraud or wilful misconduct.
15. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, including face-verification data.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the platform.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts of [insert state, e.g. Lagos State] have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any right to seek urgent relief elsewhere.
